The New York Giants have announced that they’ve placed both linebacker J.T. Thomas and long-snapper Danny Aiken on injured reserve, so their season is now over even though the Giants’ season is over in just a few days anyway.
The team today placed linebacker J.T. Thomas and long-snapper Danny Aiken on injured reserve. Thomas has an ankle injury. Aiken injured his thumb in practice yesterday.
The Giants now have 21 players on injured reserve, including long-snapper Zak DeOssie who Aiken was signed to replace.
In order to fill the spots left open by Thomas and Aiken the Giants signed linebacker Nico Johnson from the practice squad and long-snapper Tyler Ott.
