The New York Giants officially placed CB Valentino Blake on the exempt/left squad on Wednesday. The Giants will have a roster exemption for Blake while he’s on the list.
Blake, 27, wound up signing on with the Jaguars as an undrafted free agent out of back in 2012. He lasted just over a year in Jacksonville before he was waived at the start of the 2013 season and later claimed by the Steelers.
Pittsburgh brought Blake back on one-year deals for the 2014 and 2015 seasons before he later departed last March for a one-year, $1.
