The New York Giants have just one half of preseason football left to play, and the first half of the final game went much like the first six halves of the preseason.
The New England Patriots fielded much of their starting offense, complete with suspended quarterback Tom Brady. The Giants, on the other hand, fielded only two defensive starters, but the result was much the same as in the previous three preseason games.
The Giants' back-up defense was stout against the Patriots offense, with Trevin Wade setting the tone by blowing a screen play on the first play of the game, then ending that series by intercepting Brady.
