T.J. Jones did plenty of good things on the practice field during training camp and in the preseason games this summer. The 27-year-old wide receiver certainly did not look out of place wearing a Giants uniform and developed a nice chemistry with rookie quarterback Daniel Jones.
Looks can be deceiving this time of year, and Jones was one of the players cut on Saturday as the Giants began the process of paring their roster to the 53-player limit by 4 p.m.
Jones arrived with 64 career receptions for 814 yards and four touchdowns from his four years with the Lions and led the Giants this preseason with 12 catches for 146 yards and two touchdowns.
