NEW YORK -- Giants owner John Mara threw his weight behind struggling 37-year-old quarterback, Eli Manning, despite his team's 1-5 start to the season.
"When you're 1-5, it generally means that everybody needs to play better," Mara said Tuesday at the NFL Meetings at the Conrad Hotel in Manhattan. "He's not alone. A lot of guys, just need to do their jobs. We still believe in him. Everybody needs to do their jobs for us to be successful, and right now, that's not happening."
Manning has struggled mightily to consistently move the Giants' offense down the field, despite the fact that he has completed 68.
