EAST RUTHERFORD -- Owa Odighizuwa is here.
The defensive end reported to the start of Giants training camp here Thursday after a somewhat tumultuous offseason that threw his future into question.
Odighizuwa was excused from the Giants' three-day mandatory minicamp in mid-June for what head coach Ben McAdoo said were personal reasons. His minicamp absence came after he was believed to have missed all 10 of the team's voluntary organized team activity sessions.
Odighizuwa caused a ripple on social media in early April when he tweeted out a series of cryptic messages that seemed to suggest he was taking a leave of absence from the Giants and NFL.
