Giants OT Michael Bowie has been charged with domestic assault and battery, and malicious injury or destruction of property in Oklahoma back on July 31, according to court records obtained by KOTV-6 in Tulsa.
A warrant has been issued for Bowie’s arrest and he is scheduled to be held in lieu of $17,000 bond.
According to the report, Bowie went to his girlfriend’s home and became angry with her because of how she spoke to his mother, prosecutors allege.
Bowie allegedly grabbed her by the throat, threw her to the ground, punched a hole in the wall and broke two televisions.
