LONDON — The Giants traveled across the Atlantic Ocean for an unusual road trip on foreign soil, but could not escape the controversy surrounding Josh Brown and domestic abuse.
“We’re not going to turn our back on Josh. He’s a teammate and a guy who we’re hoping makes strides,” coach Ben McAdoo said at an introductory press conference Friday morning, not long after landing for Sunday’s NFL International Series game against the Rams.
Brown, though, is not on the trip and his place on the roster is tenuous. The Giants will go with newly signed NFL veteran Robbie Gould as their place kicker for this game — at the very least.
