Giants fans didn’t expect their receiving corps to look like this.

And they certainly didn’t expect the corps that started Sunday’s game to play like this.

The unheralded crew of Sterling Shepard, Tavarres King and Roger Lewis Jr. starred in the Giants’ 34-29 loss to the Eagles at MetLife Stadium, helping quarterback Eli Manning to his best statistical performance of the season (37-of-57 for 434 yards with three touchdowns and one interception).

“I thought the receivers made some outstanding plays today,” Manning said afterward. “Proud of the way those guys competed and have hung in there and kept working.
