Last week, the Giants released punter and fan favorite Steve Weatherford in an effort to save money and acquire younger, possibly better talent at the position. Weatherford ended up saying it was one of the best days of his life.
"John Mara told me that he thinks I'm one of the greatest Giants of all time, and the reason, he said, was nothing to do with football," Weatherford said.
