There were points of last year when Jon Halapio looked set to be a building block of the Giants’ offensive remodeling. He began last year as the starter before succumbing to injury after just 116 snaps of action. But across those snaps, Halapio didn’t allow a single pressure, and that’s despite playing almost 50 pass-blocking snaps against a combination of Marcell Dareus, Malik Jackson, Calais Campbell, Yannick Ngakoue and Demarcus Lawrence, among others. From the 2018 regular season to the 2019 preseason, Halapio has earned an 86.
