Media members in attendance at Giants’ practice Thursday has been blasting Janoris Jenkins for what seems like an insincere ‘apology’ for calling a fan “retard” during a Twitter exchange on Wednesday.
Judge for yourself:
Let me be clear. I wasn’t in the locker room Thursday. I am only judging off what I have seen and heard, and past observations of Jenkins when I have been around the team.
In my view, it’s quite apparent that Jenkins isn’t actually remorseful. He doesn’t really seem to understand why the word “retard” is offensive.
