Good morning, New York Giants fans!
Giants add three candidates to search for next defensive coordinator
The New York Giants have added three candidates to the list of coaches being considered to become their next defensive coordinator, including one candidate who has been on the staff the last couple of years.
Giants’ defensive backs coach Jerome Henderson has been considered a possibility should the Giants want to look internally to provide continuity for players. ESPN’s Jordan Raanan is now reporting that Henderson has officially become a candidate.
The Giants requested permission to interview Los Angeles Chargers defensive coordinator Derrick Ansley for the job that opened in New York when Wink Martindale and the Giants parted ways last week.
