Giants still hoping for turnaround
The Giants are 1-5. The chance they will make the playoffs is virtually non-existent — 1 percent per FiveThirtyEight, and the chances of even a .500 season appear slim. Still, players are trying to be optimistic, trying to stay together, which is a change from a season ago.
“You still see smiles in people’s faces when they come up in here. Positive outlooks, nobody is saying the season’s over, nobody said that since we’ve been 1-5, no one has said that, and everybody’s just staying positive,” Collins said.
