It wasn't just the fact that Giants' starting offense got into the end zone in the two-minute drill at the end of Tuesday's practice. It was the players who were involved.

Here was the situation: The offense had the ball at the opposing 49-yard line with 50 seconds remaining, one timeout and an eight-point deficit.

After running back Shane Vereen dropped a pass on first down, Manning hit Odell Beckham Jr. for a first down. Manning then connected with rookie tight end Evan Engram up the seam for a touchdown. Engram's speed was on display, as he raced past middle linebacker B.
