Just ask Giants offensive linemen Will Hernandez and Nate Solder. Their on-field relationship was littered with growing pains, predictable yet also debilitating to the offensive flow, as the rookie (Hernandez) tried to fast-forward his acclimation into the NFL and the veteran (Solder) weaned himself off the Patriots’ Way and the added pressure that comes with a hefty price-tag.
Through it all, Solder at left tackle and Hernandez at left guard lined up side by side, play after play, game after game.
