EAST RUTHERFORD -- Giants cornerback Michael Hunter got thrown right into the fire during his rookie season.
Hunter was promoted from the practice squad in Week 4 last season, playing nine snaps in a 24-10 loss to the Vikings on Monday Night Football. The lights only got brighter the next week when Hunter played eight snaps in a 23-16 loss to the Packers on Sunday Night Football.
Not surprisingly, Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers picked on Hunter, who was beat on a 29-yard touchdown pass to wide receiver Davante Adams.
"It was two big stages," Hunter said.
