Giants linebacker Mark Herzlich feels they have found common ground in moving forward from the firestorm created by President Trump's recent controversial comments about the league and its players.
Herzlich, a member of the NFLPA's executive committee, was among the attendees at a joint meeting Tuesday featuring NFL commissioner Roger Goodell, NFLPA executive director DeMaurice Smith, players and owners, including Giants president and CEO John Mara, in an effort to determine the next steps for league-wide social activism.
