The New York Giants haven’t been active on the first day of legal tampering in free agency, retaining DT Austin Johnson and signing RB Devontae Booker. Unfortunately, they lost more than they gained, with star interior defender Dalvin Tomlinson signing with the Minnesota Vikings.
While Leonard Williams remains on the horizon for the Giants, they now have a massive hole in the middle of their line that Johnson can’t fill alone. Tomlinson showed incredible growth since his rookie season in 2017. At 26 years old, Tomlinson is just entering his prime and is considered an elite run-stuffer at the NFL level.
