On the day the Giants welcome in their rookies for the start of training camp, the team on Monday will also bring in a pair of veteran safeties, as Johnathan Cyprien and Tre Boston are expected in for visits, The Post confirmed.
The defensive backfield is already in a major state of renovation, with two new starting safeties, Antoine Bethea (signed in free agency) and Jabrill Peppers (acquired in the Odell Beckham Jr. trade with the Browns). The safety group also includes returnee Michael Thomas, a six-year veteran, and Sean Chandler, who’s entering his second NFL season.
Clearly, the Giants are interested in taking a look at the two experienced safeties to possibly add to the mix and will check out Cyprien and Boston.
