The New York Giants begin three hopefully peaceful and productive days of joint practices with the Detroit Lions on Tuesday in Detroit. Here is what you need to know about those practices.
How will they work?
The Giants and Lions will hold three practices, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. The first two practices will be full-speed ones that begin at 9:40 a.m. ET. The final practice on Thursday will be a lighter one that begins at 9:10 a.m.
“Matt (Patricia, Detroit’s head coach) and I have organized these practices before, so we have kind of a set of guidelines that we want our guys to follow, but just looking forward to playing against new faces in a new scheme,” Giants coach Pat Shurmur said.
