EAST RUTHERFORD -- Giants linebacker Keenan Robinson suffered a concussion in a training camp practice on Aug. 3. He figured he was in the clear when he returned to practice on Aug. 14.
But Robinson suffered a second concussion on Aug. 18, which sidelined the sixth-year veteran for five weeks. Robinson finally cleared the NFL's concussion protocol for a second time on Thursday.
"It was a little scary," Robinson said. "I had a concussion before and didn't have any recurring concussions right after that. In college, I had one but it didn't happen again until this season, so it's been a while.
