Giants keeping special teams stalwart for two more years

The Giants and long snapper Zak DeOssie have agreed to a new two-year deal, according to a source.

DeOssie has been with the team since the they drafted him in the fourth round in 2007. He appeared in 149 consecutive games before missing four in 2015 because of torn tendons in his wrist. He and Eli Manning are the only remaining players from the Giants Super Bowl XLII and XLVI teams.

The 32-year-old has been to two Pro Bowls in his career in 2008 and 2010.

DeOssie is the only long snapper on the Giants roster.
