Giants’ Jabrill Peppers believes this defense is improving

The New York Giants have now dropped their second consecutive matchup. Big Blue was ousted by the defending champion New England Patriots on Thursday by a final score of 35-14. It’s a score that could provide the wrong look on how this Giants defense actually played though. In retrospect, New York only gave up two long drives that ended up in points.

They were the two possessions in which Tom Brady scored on quarterback sneaks. Other than that, points for New England came from a blocked punt returned for a score, a fumble recovery that was returned for a touchdown, and a Brandon Bolden touchdown that was set up by a Daniel Jones‘ interception.
