HOUSTON -- In addition to the encouraging news the Giants received on tight end Evan Engram's injured right knee, the team might be on the cusp of getting two of their better defensive players back in the lineup.
Engram was diagnosed with a sprained MCL, and is officially listed as week-to-week, but could miss as much as a month's worth of action.
However, Engram's news is a far better than the prognosis would be had there been any damage to his ACL from a low hit he took after making a 19-yard reception Sunday against the Houston Texans.
