The New York Giants Thursday injury report is highlighted by one glaring omission from the practice field: Star rookie receiver Malik Nabers.
Head coach Brian Daboll said Thursday that Nabers is in the “same spot” in the protocol Thursday as he was Wednesday. Anecdotally, Dan Duggan of The Athletic noted that Nabers was doing less on the practice field on Thursday than Wednesday. Duggan notes that Nabers was simply riding the bike on the side after running and doing football-related drills on Wednesday.
Being cleared to do simple aerobic activity — such as riding the bike — is the second phase of the concussion protocol.
