The New York Giants got good news and bad news on the final injury report before facing the Arizona Cardinals.
The good news is that running back Saquon Barkley and tight end Evan Engram were both full participants in practice and will likely return to the field Sunday. The bad news is that, as expected, wide receiver Sterling Shepard has been ruled out.
Giants’ coach Pat Shurmur said that Shepard’s health is “on the front burner” and that he will be held out as long as necessary as he recovers from his second concussion in a month’s time.
