The New York Giants are opening the 21-day window for running back Gary Brightwell and offensive tackle Matt Peart to return from injured reserve. Both players will practice on Wednesday.
Brightwell has not played since suffering a hamstring injury in Week 7 against the Washington Commanders. Peart has not played since suffering a shoulder injury Week 5 against the Miami Dolphins.
Opening their practice window now gives both players a chance to return to action at some point over the season’s final three games.
Kicker change
Coach Brian Daboll told media on Wednesday that placekicker Randy Bullock is “not great” after injuring his hamstring Sunday against the New Orleans Saints.
