Giants injury news: Kadarius Toney out with ankle injury

New York Giants wide receiver Kadarius Toney and offensive tackle Nate Solder were both taken off the field with injuries during the Giants’ first drive of Sunday’s game against the Los Angeles Rams.

Toney was taken to the locker room and ruled out with an ankle injury.

Nate Solder suffered a finger injury on his right hand and was replaced by Matt Peart. He returned to the game on the second offensive series.

Toney had been listed as questionable with an ankle injury throughout most of the week. He was cleared to play with Kenny Golladay and Darius Slayton both also injured, but appeared limited in pregame warmups.
