It seems the New York Giants can’t catch a break on the injury front.
Sunday the team announced that linebacker Mark McLaurin, OT George Asafo-Adjei, and CB Sam Beal are all dealing with injuries.
McLaurin, a UDFA safety/linebacker hybrid out of Mississippi State seems to be the most serious of the bunch, suffering a fractured foot when he was stepped on in Saturday’s practice.
OT George Asafo-Adjei has been placed in the concussion protocol while CB Sam Beal is dealing with a “Hamstring/Groin” issue. Both Asafo-Adjei and Beal have been creeping up the depth chart, with Beal a consistent presence with the second team while “Big George” has been taking reps with the first team as Nate Solder and Mike Remmers continue the process of returning from injury.
