EAST RUTHERFORD -- Ziggy Ansah wasn't the only person to run over Eli Manning on Monday night.
The veteran quarterback didn't just take an on-field beating from Ansah and the Lions' pass rush in the Giants' 24-10 loss at MetLife Stadium. Manning was also sacked by his own coach off it.
Ben McAdoo said to "put this game on me" in defeat. But that costly delay-of-game penalty that thwarted the Giants' try for a game-changing, go-for-it call on fourth-and-goal from the Detroit 2 in the third quarter?
McAdoo was more than willing to throw Manning under the bus for that one, and then back up a few times for good measure.
