After Dexter Lawrence practiced on a limited basis Saturday for the second consecutive day, the New York Giants are hopeful that the star defensive tackle will be able to play Monday night against the Green Bay Packers.
Lawrence missed the Giants’ Week 12 game against the New England Patriots with a hamstring injury.
“I’m hopeful,” said head coach Brian Daboll. “Hopefully he’ll be ready to go in a couple days here. That would be the plan.”
Starting right tackle Evan Neal (hamstring) has been ruled out. He will miss his fourth straight game and sixth in the last seven.
