Phil Simms, the former Giants quarterback and CBS commentator recently replaced as lead color analyst by Tony Romo, is making another move: He's selling his estate on 20 private wood acres in Franklin Lakes.
Simms and his wife Diana listed the home for $8.25 million. They purchased the property in 1999 for $1.55 million, records show, and according to the Trulia listing, the 10,000-square-foot traditional-style home was built in 2002.
They raised their three children there; the oldest son, Chris, was a standout player for Ramapo High School in Franklin Lakes who went on to play for the NFL, while their youngest son, Matt, who now plays for the Atlanta Falcons, was a quarterback for Don Bosco Prep in nearby Ramsey.
