UNION- Phil Simms knows the game of football, plain and simple.
The 14-year New York Giants quarterback, who threw for more than 33,000 career yards and was named Super Bowl XXI MVP, currently travels across the country during the fall and winter for his sports broadcasting duties with CBS.
But every summer, Simms hits the gridiron to meet with local players for the annual North-South All-Star Football Classic. On Tuesday night, after the North came away with a 7-0 win, Simms offered up his thoughts on the football here in the Garden State and he didn’t mince words.
