The New York Giants have granted the release of cornerback Teddy Williams. This comes after Williams requested a release from the team as he deals with a family health issue. Williams did not want to hold up a roster spot while he dealt with the issue.
Everyone affiliated with the Giants organization and especially Dave Gettleman have been absolutely incredible to us. Can not thank them enough on behalf of Teddy and his family.

Williams, 30, has played for six different teams in seven NFL seasons.
