The Giants reacted to a rash of injuries to their secondary Tuesday by signing veteran cornerback Coty Sensabaugh.
A fifth-year pro released last week by the Rams, Sensabaugh certainly addresses a need after starting cornerback Eli Apple had to exit Sunday’s 23-16 loss to the Packers because of a groin injury.
Another top corner, Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie, also has been slowed by a groin problem, though Rodgers-Cromartie appears likely to play Sunday at home against the Ravens.
The 5-foot-11, 187-pound Sensabaugh, a former fourth-round pick of the Titans, said Tuesday his head was spinning after Los Angeles cut him just four games after signing him in free agency last spring.
