There was a suspicious UFO-like drone floating above on-field 11-on-11 drills during the Giants Wednesday.
But no, that wasn't Bill Belichick spying on the Giants. It was the Giants spying on the Giants. Big Blue became the latest NFL club to embrace drone technology during the second day of its mandatory minicamp, debuting a DJI 3 Phantom drone that hovered about 50-60 feet overhead for about a half-hour during practice.
The Phantom, which retails for $1,259 at BHI, is controlled by a team official with a tablet. Coaches will use it to study plays from directly overhead.
