Giants general manager Jerry Reese spoke to the media Monday for the first time since the season started, but refused to discuss why the team re-signed Josh Brown in the offseason despite allegations of domestic violence against the kicker.
Brown was released last week after more documents were released, in which the kicker admitted to abusing his ex-wife. Reese refused comment on that decision as well.
“I’m not taking any questions on Josh Brown,” Reese said. “I wish healing for him and his family and everybody involved. That’s all I’m gonna say about that.”
When asked several more questions about the situation, Reese became agitated, refusing to elaborate on his reasoning for not addressing the controversy.
