General manager Dave Gettleman has enlisted a familiar face to assist in the reshaping of the New York Giants roster this offseason. He added former Carolina Panthers executive Mark Koncz as a consultant in the personnel department, a source confirmed to ESPN.
Koncz and Gettleman worked together in Carolina. Koncz was the Panthers' pro scouting director from 2000-17 before being promoted by Gettleman to director of player personnel last year.
Koncz was later fired after Marty Hurney took over for Gettleman as general manager.
