Veteran defensive end Kerry Wynn will return to the New York Giants, the team announced Monday afternoon.
Wynn, 27, has played 49 games with 10 starts for the Giants since first making the team as an undrafted free agent in 2015. He has three career sacks and 92 career tackles. Wynn played 252 snaps last season, 22.9 percent of the Giants’ defensive plays. ESPN’s Jordan Ranaan reported that Wynn agreed to a one-year deal.
Wynn is just the third Giants’ unrestricted free agent to return to the team, with the others being linebacker Mark Herzlich and offensive lineman John Greco.
