Wide receiver Brittan Golden hasn’t been able to land a contract this offseason, but the 30-year-old will forever be grateful that the Giants brought him to their facilities for a tryout.
Golden, who spent the past five years primarily playing on special teams with the Cardinals, worked out for multiple teams as a free agent this year and learned during his physical with the Giants that he had a tumor in his mouth.
“They probably had the most extensive physical that I’ve ever been through in my life, which is a good thing,” Golden said on FoxSports 910 AM in Phoenix on Wednesday.
