The Giants want to gain continuity on their offensive line, but it looks as if they will not succeed this weekend. Center Weston Richburg is dealing with swelling in his left knee that likely will keep him out of Saturday night’s preseason game against the Jets.
“It just all of a sudden popped up this year,’’ Richburg said. “We’re trying to figure it out now. Figure out how we can eliminate this problem before the season rolls around and the games actually count and it’s for real. We’re trying to figure out a way to manage this.’’
Backup center Dallas Reynolds is expected to start in place of Richburg.
