The Giants have added another piece to their backfield.
The team will sign journeyman running back Shaun Draughn, according to ESPN.
Draughn has been on eight teams in six years, spending last year and part of 2015 with the 49ers. He had 74 carries for 196 yards and four rushing touchdowns last year for San Francisco, as well as 29 catches for 263 yards and two touchdowns.
The 29-year-old signed with the Redskins as an undrafted free agent out of North Carolina in 2011. He was cut at the end of training camp in 2011 and signed with the Chiefs.
