The NFL and the NFL Players Association asked the Giants to discuss their policies and handling of MRSA with the team on Wednesday, in the wake of tight end Daniel Fells’ MRSA infection over the weekend, so team physician Ronnie Barnes and other team doctors met with players in the morning.
“We had the person in charge of our facility here talk about the cleaning process,” Giants coach Tom Coughlin said. “The players asked a couple questions, a couple good questions.”
The Giants had their entire East Rutherford practice facility - meeting rooms, training rooms and locker rooms - scrubbed for MRSA on Tuesday.
