EAST RUTHERFORD -- Evan Engram might have Tweeted the so-called "neutral face" emoji, but only because there isn't a better one available to depict how he truly feels when people suggest he should change positions.
Engram's 722 receiving yards with the 2017 Giants were the most by a rookie tight end in the 2000s, but it only fed a popular outside narrative coming out of a college as a first-round draft pick that he is a wide receiver in a 6-foot-3, 240-pound tight end's body.
When Bleacher Report suggested he change positions earlier this month, Engram needed one character to let it be known he didn't agree.
