Eli Manning and the Giants will reportedly get his extension done just under the wire.
Two days after Manning warned he didn’t want to negotiate during the season, NFL Network reported that the two-time Super Bowl MVP and the Giants are nearing a four-year, $84 million extension.
The deal, expected to be signed Friday, will once again make Manning among the top-paid players in the league.
“I’m hoping if this thing is going to get done, it’s going to get done very quickly,” Manning said Tuesday on WFAN. “I would think both sides would want to do it that way and not have these talks continue on.
