The first game of the post-Jason Garrett era for the New York Giants’ offense looks like it will begin like many others have this season — with several top players sidelined.
Wide receiver Kadarius Toney (quad) and tight end Kyle Rudolph (ankle) are listed as “Doubtful,” meaning they probably will not play. Toney leads the Giants with 35 receptions. This would be his second missed game of the season.
With Kaden Smith (knee) missing a second straight game coming off the bye and trending toward landing on injured reserve, the Giants would be down to Evan Engram and Chris Myarick at tight end if Rudolph can’t go.
