The first half of the New York Giants‘ trip to Philadelphia couldn’t have started out worse.
First a three and out to start the game, then the Giants’ defense gives up a long touchdown drive, then Eli Manning almost immediately throws a pick 6.
The Giants’ defense settled down, coming up with a pair of three and outs and an interception, but the offense failed to capitalize on any momentum the defense captured. The Eagles stretched their lead to 21-6 on a screen pass given up by over-pursuit by Keenan Robinson, a bad penalty on Eli Apple, and a touchdown off a busted coverage.
