Giants DT Jay Bromley ready for 'big year' after watching Johnathan Hankins cash in

EAST RUTHERFORD -- Giants defensive tackle Jay Bromley was a keen observer to the free agency of friend and teammate Johnathan Hankins this offseason. When Hankins left the Giants to sign a three-year, $27 million contract with the Colts in April, Bromley gained motivation for his own future.

"That's like your brother," Bromley said. "When you see him do something great, it's like, that's great and I'm happy for him, but I'd be lying to you if I told you I didn't want to do better than him. That's the mentality and vice versa, I know he would want to do better than me.
