General manager Joe Schoen and the New York Giants invested in their offensive line during free agency after yet another unsatisfying performance by the unit. The team parted ways with former offensive line coach Bobby Johnson and hired former Raiders’ offensive line coach Carmen Bricillo.
In addition to the coaching change, the Giants signed former Packer Jon Runyan and reunited former Raider Jermaine Eluemunor with Bricillo. They also signed former Buccaneer Aaron Stinnie and former Vikings center Austin Schlottmann.
The additions gave the Giants flexibility as they prepare for the NFL Draft, but that doesn’t mean the Giants shouldn’t look to invest more assets into a unit that has drastically underperformed for over a decade.
